Despite my experience helping others with their anxiety, I couldn’t seem to overcome my own.
I felt like the carpenter who never finished his spare room
The plumber who never fixed the drippy faucet.
The closet organizer who had a serious problem with shoes.
There I was, helping others decrease and eliminate their anxiety, but what about mine?
It was still there.
I thought I was doing something about it, but was I really?
Years of struggling, able to help others with their anxiety but not my own.
I got so caught up in helping others that I neglected myself.
